Cast a Spell on MS 2013

A Magic: The Gathering tournament to benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society

100% of the entry fees will be donated to the Northwest Ohio chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Additional donations are welcome.

Main Event

Entry Fee: $15 (cash only) --- Format: Standard Constructed

Registration begins at 11am. Tournament begins at 12pm.

Prizes: Magic Judge foils to top 8, booster pack distribution based on attendance.

Magic Judge foils will be given to the top 8 finishers. Winners pick in order of final standings. First and second place get two foils each, 3rd through 8th get one card each.
Available foils: 2 Imperial Recruiter, 2 Karakas, 2 Dark Confidant, 2 Noble Hierarch, 1 Vendilion Clique, 1 Sinkhole.

8 player Constructed Win-a-Loot
- Single Elimination
- Format: Standard/Modern/Legacy
- The winner gets a loot ticket that can be redeemed for prize cards or booster boxes while supplies last.
- Selected loot case contents:
  - 1 loot ticket each: Karakas (Judge promo), Swords to Plowshares (Judge promo), $100 StarCityGames.com Gift card
  - 1/2 loot ticket each: Noble Hierarch (Judge promo), Sneak Attack (Judge promo), Sword of Light and Shadow (Judge promo)
  - 1/4 loot ticket each: Command Tower (Judge promo), Doubling Season (Judge promo), Karmic Guide (Judge promo)
8 player Booster Drafts

Raffle

Lots of random prizes -- including a Magic Judge foil Karakas and a $100 StarCityGames.com gift card -- will be raffled off at the end of the main event's swiss rounds. Players get one raffle ticket for each event they enter. Players must be present at the drawing to claim a prize.

Silent Auction

During the event, several rare Magic playmats will be auctioned. All proceeds from the auction will be donated to the National MS Society. Winning bidders may pay by credit card, but a nominal processing fee will be deducted from the donation amount.

Vendors

MythicMTG.com, DeckFactory.com, Old School Gaming, and Game Room are scheduled to be on site to buy, sell, and trade cards.
